Story line: Heropanti 2 is about a guy who helps people at night. Whether that be saving someone from a robbery or kidnapping this guy is always there. The Indian government finds out about this and sends him to Russia where he has the mission of killing Russian troops at night. Plot: In 2010 Arjun Shergill is on a mission to capture a terrorist Rehman Gul where he saves a young suicide bomber but captures Rehman Gul.12 years later while traveling in a flight Arjun meets an air hostess Ayesha and falls in love with her both are about to take their relationship further but a terrorist attack at the airport kills Ayesha leaving Arjun badly injured.Arjun is then left bound to wheel chair with only movement in his neck through news channels he finds that the attacker is Hamid Gul son of Rehman Gul whom he had saved 12 years back.The Indian intelligence chief Subramanium comes with the idea to introduce super soldiers operated by robotic means in Indian Army to save loss of lives during cause of war which are designed by Dr. Sabaha Qureshi.Subramanium chooses Arjun for this mission but while getting introduced to this process his chances of survival are minimal.Arjun manages survive the process and turns a super solider who operates with command of IRA designed by Sabaha.

Plot: The story revolves around Krishna Pandit (Darshan Kumar), a JNU student, who thinks his parents were killed in an accident as told by his grandfather, Pushkar Nath (Anupam Kher). But the truth is more depressing. He is caught in the middle of two opposing narratives of the Kashmiri Pandit exodus of 1990. One side is represented by the pro-Azaadi JNU professor (Pallavi Joshi) who is gaining a lot of support on the campus for her Kashmir cause. On the other side is Nath, who has been struggling for 30 years to get justice for the exodus, which the professor claims is a sham. After Pushkar Naths death, Krishna goes back to Kashmir to fulfil his last wishes and also meets four of Naths friends, a journalist, a doctor, a former police officer, and a retired civil servant. They are shocked to know that Krishna didnt know the true story of his fathers death. The Kashmir Files then becomes a journey of discovering the truth for Krishna. In one among many traumatic scenes, Krishnas father, hiding in a container of rice, is killed by a local terrorist. His mother is forced to eat the blood-soaked rice from the same container.
